WHAT ARE THE CONVENTIONS OF A MUSIC VIDEO?


  • 3-4 minutes long
  • visuals reflect the lyrics
  • sometimes videos are abstract/ conceptional
  • focus on artist e.g low angle = high status, close ups are repeated , costumes might be themes and vary according to genre.
